Ukraine will partially pay for the purchase of energy machinery and equipment

The Ministry of Economy explained that we are talking about technology and electrical equipment made in Ukraine.

Buyers of machinery and electrical equipment made in Ukraine will receive compensation in the amount of 15%. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.

“Manufacturers with local production at the level of 40% or more will be able to participate,” said First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko.

Compensation for products purchased from the beginning of the program to December 1 can be received as early as 2024. To do this, you must submit an application before December 5. For machinery and equipment purchased after December 1, compensation accrues the following year. Funding of applications will be carried out in the order they are received within budgetary funding limits.

Payments (excluding VAT) will be made to customers who purchase:

Energy equipment

• industrial systems for storing electrical energy;

• solar panels, power plants, collectors;

• wind power plants and mini-hydroelectric power plants;

• wind power generators, gas turbines, gas pistons and cogeneration plants;

• transformers, distribution cabinets; heat pumps; individual heating points, recuperators, metering devices

Wheeled vehicles

• buses – city, tourist, public, two-section, low floor;

• tank trucks – including those for transporting fuels and lubricants and fire trucks;

• vans, trawls, trailers and semi-trailers.

Construction, municipal and special equipment

• cranes, including tower cranes, earth-moving machines; loaders and backhoe loaders;

• garbage trucks, sewage disposal and garbage collection vehicles, as well as elevators;

• machines for mechanized demining (including robotic), pyrotechnic machines, demining equipment.

To participate in the program, manufacturers must submit an application to the Ministry of Economy in electronic form, a list of goods for purchase for which the buyer can receive compensation and a package of documents:

• Information about the level of localization.

• Spending.

• Information about technological operations.

• Calculation of the share of labor costs and so on.

After verification by the Ministry of Economy and a positive decision, the goods will be placed on the public list. The information will be transferred to the banks where the program is implemented.

Buyers need:

• pay for the purchase of machinery and equipment from the list at an authorized bank;

• submit an application to the bank for payment;

• submit as confirmation a copy of the payment document and the act of acceptance and transfer of machinery and equipment.
