Ukrainian farmers have already harvested about 40 million tons of new crops, of which 22 million tons are wheat. Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced this at a government meeting on Friday, September 20.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister, in particular, focused on the development of the market for the demining of agricultural land – applications for the demining of more than 21 thousand hectares have already been submitted, and the first auctions are held on the Prozorro platform.
“This step supports not only food stability, but also the restoration of Ukraine’s agricultural sector,” Shmygal added.
We report that Ukrainian farmers have already threshed 39.06 million tons of new crops collected in an area of 10.9 million hectares.
