Ukraine’s solvent banks received 93.616 billion hryvnias of profit after tax in January-July 2024. This is 12.5% more than a year ago, according to data from the National Bank of Ukraine.

In the second place is the state-owned Oschadbank (10.997 billion Hryvnia), in the third place is the bank of the foreign banking group Raiffeisen Bank with a profit of 4.867 billion Hryvnia.
It is followed by the state-owned Ukreximbank – 4.736 billion hryvnias and the private FUIB – 3.822 billion hryvnias.
According to the NBU, 54 out of 62 banks made a profit of 93.815 billion hryvnias, and eight banks showed a loss of 199 million hryvnias.

Let’s recall that in 2023, PrivatBank received a record pre-tax profit of 72.8 billion Hryvnias and paid the state 57 billion Hryvnias in income tax and dividends.
Oschadbank completed 2023 with a net profit of 6 billion hryvnias. This is a record level for the entire period of its work.
