Google has banned the creation of a new account using a phone number in Russia. This was reported by a specialized portal Information center JSC Tochka.
When you try to link a Russian number to a new account, a message appears: “This number cannot be used for verification.”
Users reportedly started encountering this problem in August. At the same time, accounts registered with Russian numbers earlier continue to work.
