The average salary of full-time employees in Ukraine increased in the second quarter of 2024 by 22.1% to UAH 20,964.
In hryvnias, it is 49.6% higher compared to pre-war 2021 (14,014 hryvnias).
The salary is also higher in dollar terms – $526. In 2021, the salary is $514.

According to the State Statistics Service, the highest wages are in the field of Information and telecommunications, where they increased by 37.1% to 50,188 Hryvnias.
In third place are financial and insurance activities. Financiers receive an average of 39,890 hryvnias. An increase of 21.6%.
It is followed by Professional, scientific and technical activities – 28,300 Hryvnia. An increase of 23.7%.
In the field of Public Administration and Defense, salaries increased by 24.4% to 27,285 Hryvnia.
The minimum salary in education is 15,076 hryvnias. Over the year, salaries increased by 15.7%.

We remind you that Russia recorded the strongest increase in wage debts in 11 years. In percentage terms, the increase in overdue wages – by 30.7% per month – is a record since January 2013.
