The dollar and euro continue to decline in exchange offices

The average selling rate of the dollar fell by another 5 kopecks to 41.35 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate also decreased by 5 kopecks to 45.95 Hryvnia.

The hryvnia exchange rate continued to strengthen against the dollar and the euro at the exchange offices at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, September 9.

The average selling rate of the dollar fell by another 5 kopecks to 41.35 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate also decreased by 5 kopecks to 45.95 Hryvnia.

Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 40.85 hryvnia, and euros for 45.25 hryvnia.

In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 40.94-40.98 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.

Last Friday, the National Bank reduced the dollar-hryvnia exchange rate to the lowest for the last month of 41.0168 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0722 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 45.5574 UAH (-0.0308 UAH).

Earlier it became known that in August international reserves of Ukraine increased by 13.7% (by $5.096 billion) to $42.331 billion. They rose up after being rejected for four straight months.
