The average age of used cars that switched to Ukrainian license plates in August was 8.6 years.
In August, the Ukrainian car fleet was filled with more than 25.7 thousand used cars imported from abroad. It was reported by Ukravtoprom on Monday, September 9.
So, compared to August 2023, registrations of such cars increased by 22%. While compared to the previous month, the number increased by almost 29%.
Analysts note that this is the best indicator in the last 25 months.
The largest share in this segment of the car market belongs to gasoline cars – 46%.

It was noted that the leader in registration among imported second-hand goods remains the Volkswagen Golf.
It was previously reported that in five months of 2024, a record number of electric cars were delivered to Ukraine – 20,785.
Over the past six months, 21.2 thousand used cars from the United States of America were registered in Ukraine. That is, 19% of used cars that switched to Ukrainian license plates from January to June were from the USA.
We remind you that over the year the demand for used cars in Ukraine has increased by 34%.
