In the interbank market, the American currency rate increased by 12 kopecks, to 41.16-41.18 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar for the first time in eight days. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Thursday, August 1.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 41.139. for 1 dollar (+0.1327 UAH). In turn, the euro fell slightly in price and cost UAH 44.4013 (-0.0003 UAH).
Today, in the interbank market, the American currency rate increased by 12 kopecks, at 41.16-41.18 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar jumped by 15 kopecks to UAH 41.45.
Let us remind you that last week the structural deficit of foreign currency was reduced in the interbank market – the NBU sold $784.63 million. This is 17.4% lower than a week earlier.
Also, in the past week, the official exchange rate of the hryvnia strengthened against the dollar by 40 kopecks – to UAH 41.09.
