In the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by another 12 kopecks, to 41.01-41.03 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine has again raised the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate to a historic maximum. For the first time in history, the American currency exceeded the 41 hryvnia mark. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, July 12.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate on July 15 was set at UAH 41.0434 (+0.1611 UAH). And the euro exchange rate jumped even further and will reach UAH 44.686 (+0.3042 UAH). It’s also a new all-time high.
On the interbank market, the price of the American currency rose by another 12 kopecks, to 41.01-41.03 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to 41.15 hryvnia.
We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers predicts a further increase in the dollar exchange rate. According to the Budget Declaration, in 2025 the average exchange rate will increase by 10%, up to 45 UAH/dollar. At the same time, the budget for 2024 includes an average exchange rate of 40.7 UAH/dollar and 42.1 UAH/dollar in December.
It was also reported that the cash dollar exchange rate increased for the fourth consecutive month. In June, it increased by 1.7% to UAH 40.85.
