The cost of “blue fuel”, on the contrary, has been decreasing for six months, notes the Ministry of Economy.
The actual selling price of gas in Ukraine in June of this year increased by 0.8%, to 12,563 Hryvnias per 1 thousand cubic meters without VAT. This is confirmed by data from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Gas, after falling in price over the past six months, is now getting more expensive. In particular, the cost increased for the second month in a row. In particular, “blue fuel” will cost more in June 2023 (10,743 hryvnias).
The most likely reason for the increase in gas prices is the devaluation of the Hryvnia. The average official dollar exchange rate increased last month by 1.9%, to UAH 40.48.
Gas prices in Europe today are at the level of $350 per thousand cubic meters (14.3 thousand Hryvnia).

We remind you that Moldova is ready to ensure the supply of electricity to Ukraine as part of the gas-to-electricity project.
