It is indicated that since the end of March, approximately 1.6 billion cubic meters have been pumped into underground gas storage facilities. This is 390 million cubic meters more than the figure for the same period in 2023.

“This quantity corresponds to the plan for the preparation of blue fuel reserves for the next heating season. All our businesses continue to work as normal,” said Naftogaz.

As you know, Ukraine spent last winter using its own gas. In total, the gas extraction period lasted 145 days.

In the next heating season, Naftogaz plans to accumulate at least 13 billion cubic meters of gas. It will also be gas from our own production.
