The blocking of properties, among the owners of which there are authorized persons, should not affect the mood of potential investors, noted the Federation of Employers of Ukraine.
It is necessary to develop a new draft law on the expropriation of private property, because in the current version, bill No. 11195 On amendments to some laws of Ukraine on the mechanism for protecting the property rights of third parties will not ensure the rule of law and will deprive Ukraine of investments. The corresponding statement was published by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FRU).

“The blocking of assets, among the owners of which there are authorized persons, should not cause risks for other investors of the asset and negatively affect the feelings of potential investors Without questioning the the right of the state to implement sanctions policies, we believe that in order to ensure the principle of the rule of law and stimulate investment in Ukraine, the interests of people who are not subject to sanctions and are not under investigation should protect,” the statement said.
The Federation draws attention to the violation of norms of bilateral international agreements of Ukraine on mutual protection of investments contained in the existing project. After all, in essence, shareholders without any violations will also be deprived of their property rights.
“Considering the threats to the constitutional principles of property rights, the potential deterioration of the investment climate and the possible deterioration of the economic situation associated with the consideration of bill No. 11195, we ask you to develop a new bill on a mechanism for protecting the property rights of third parties with the participation of government bodies, parliamentary corps, lawyers, and representatives of the business community and specialist in international law,” added the Federation.
Earlier, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine called on the Verkhovna Rada not to vote for the draft law on confiscation of private property. His open letter to the representatives of the people was published.
