In the Volyn region, detectives from the Bureau of Economic Security suspended the activities of an underground workshop for the production of household chemicals. The BEB press service reported this on Friday, May 31.
Laundry detergents were illegally produced in a warehouse in the Lutsk region. Labels with the names of well-known trademarks, intellectual property rights owned by foreign companies, are placed on finished products. Under the guise of the original, counterfeit goods are sold throughout Ukraine.
During warehouse searches, BEB employees discovered and seized approximately 17 tons of finished products, equipment and raw materials for the production of detergents, packaging containers, and labels of popular brands .
All seized property was confiscated. Its estimated value is 1 million hryvnias.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The whole circle of people involved is established.
