It should not be excluded that Ukraine, which previously received Skynex installations, may receive ammunition.
German defense concern Rheinmetall has received orders from a European country to supply hundreds of thousands of ammunition for the Skynex air defense system. The company announced this yesterday.
According to published data, the total value of the order for the 35 mm AHEAD ammunition is at least 100 million euros. At least 100 thousand stores will be built.
Rheinmetall did not specify which European country we are talking about, but it should not be excluded that Ukraine, which previously received Skynex installations, may receive ammunition.
So, at the end of April, Germany transferred the next batch of weapons to Ukraine, which included additional air defense systems – two Skynex complexes with ammunition and other equipment.
And recently, Rheinmetall received a large order for artillery ammunition from a NATO member country worth around 300 million euros.
