The charge of intentional homicide with hooligan motives was submitted to the court.
The specialized prosecutor’s office of Kiev in the field of defense of the Central region submitted to the court an indictment against an employee of the State Security Service of Ukraine for committing intentional murder for hooligan motives (clause 7, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The Office of the Prosecutor General reports this on its Telegram channel.
“The investigation established that on April 7, 2024, at the capital’s upper funicular station, a law enforcement officer, while drunk, provoked a conflict with a group of teenagers,” the report said.
The Office of the Prosecutor General recalled that after getting out of the carriage, after waiting for the minor, the suspect pushed him.
As a result of the fall, the victim broke the glass with his head and received a severe cut to the neck, from which he died before the arrival of doctors.
The suspect is currently in custody.
As you know, on April 7, at the capital’s funicular station, a conflict arose between a man serving as a driver for a law enforcement agency and a minor. After leaving the carriage, law enforcement pushed the teenager, and he fell, breaking the glass with his head and sustaining a severe cut to his neck.
The suspect was subsequently sent to a pre-trial detention center.
