In May of this year, US presidential candidate Trump held a private event with some of his biggest campaign donors. He suggested that if he were president of the United States, he would “bomb Moscow and Beijing if Russia invaded Ukraine or China attacked Taiwan.” The remarks surprised some of his campaign donors. This was reported by The Washington Post.
The material says that in general, during events before the election and at rallies, Trump talks mainly about foreign policy, inflation and immigration.
It is also noted that the ex-president is actively trying to raise money for his election campaign. At meetings with businessmen, he asks for millions in contributions, surprising even his own advisers. Trump told one of the donors that a contribution of $25 million or more was expected. up to $50 million, otherwise he will “not be very happy.”
Let us recall that former US President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that if elected president, he would end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. He noted that Ukraine would have to give up all or part of the occupied territories.
