The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) intends to hold the first auctions for leasing agricultural land in the summer. This was announced by the head of the Department of European Integration and International Cooperation Olesya Mizina at the second Luxembourg-Ukrainian business forum Quick recovery of Ukraineorganized by the LUCC in Luxembourg, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“State agricultural lands will be leased to domestic and international investors, depending on the use of the land, the lease period will be 14 or 25 years,” he said.
According to the official, in total the state has more than 800 thousand hectares of land, the State Property Fund manages 386 thousand hectares of agricultural land, of which 109,000 hectares are planned to be put up for auction in the first pool.
He noted that in addition to 19 large privatization objects, other assets include enterprises receiving grain, as well as a large number of objects throughout Ukraine for brownfield projects with great potential for investment. There are also interesting things in nationalized assets, for example, an enterprise for the production of aerated concrete Aero.
The official added that the hotels will be put up for sale in June-July Ukraine And Cossackswhich is located in the center of Kyiv.
“We are counting on investment funds and developers who will be interested in such assets. They can buy these hotels and, for example, give them cooperation with well-known hotel chains,” said a representative of the SPF.
