People’s deputies created a temporary special commission (TSC) of the Verkhovna Rada to use state budget funds for the construction of fortifications at the front, the production and purchase of UAVs.

People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced this today, May 22, in his Telegram channel.
277 people’s representatives voted for the corresponding resolution No. 11282.
The commission included eight representatives of the Servant of the People and one representative each of all factions and groups of parliament. Nikolai Zadorozhny from Servant of the People became the head of VSK.
The powers of the VSK include studying the circumstances and preparing questions regarding:
- the needs of the security and defense sector for unmanned aerial vehicles and the formation of a government order for the production and purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles;
- analysis of the practice of distribution, transfer, delivery and taking on balance of unmanned aerial vehicles to military units and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine;
- arrangement of fortifications, engineering barriers on the contact line and targeted use of funds allocated for their arrangement.
Let us remind you that the creation of this VSK was one of the demands of the deputies who yesterday, May 21, blocked the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
