In the interbank market, the dollar is stable and its exchange rate does not change – 39.28-39.30 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine increased the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro. The hryvnia’s strengthening trend against the US currency continues for the fourth consecutive day. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, May 7.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 39.2966 (-0.0595 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 42.3087 UAH (-0.0896 UAH).
Today in the interbank market the dollar is stable and its rate does not change – 39.28-39.30 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s closing.
Meanwhile, in the cash market its rate fell by 5 kopecks – to 39.80 UAH/dollar.
Let us remind you that in April in the cash market the dollar selling rate increased by 1.8% – to UAH 39.64. At the end of the month it rose above 40 UAH/dollar, but subsequently fell slightly. The official rate updated historical highs and reached 39.78 UAH/dollar on April 22.
