The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, wished the bloody dictator of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin that he would remain in power until the “end of the century.” He said this during a prayer service on the occasion of Putin’s inauguration in the Annunciation Cathedral of the Kremlin. Komsomolskaya Pravda quotes the patriarch’s speech in full.

May the blessing of God, the protection of the Queen of Heaven, remain with you all the days of your life, until the end of the age, as we say. And I will boldly say: God forbid that the end of the century means the end of your stay in power. “You have everything to carry out this great service to the Motherland for a long time and successfully,” Kirill said during the service.
In his speech, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church also stated that Putin’s ministry, on whose actions “the fate of the country depends,” must be accompanied by “courage and strength.”
Because sometimes you need such courage when you have to step over a lot, perhaps sometimes because in ordinary life… it’s as if it’s impossible to cross over because of this,” Kirill said.
He said that the head of state must make “formidable decisions” and gave the example of Prince Alexander Nevsky, canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church.
This man did not spare his enemies, but became famous as a saint. Because it’s one thing to defend the country from the enemy, and another thing to destroy right and left, driving away your phobias or striving for any career interests,” Kirill said.
On May 7, Putin took the oath of office as President of Russia for the fifth time. Kirill held the ceremony of blessing the Russian President to serve the Motherland for the third time; he held his first service in 2012.
Based on the results of the so-called elections, which the occupiers held in the territories temporarily occupied in Ukraine, Putin was given 87% support.
