In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 9 kopecks – to 39.20-39.30 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
In Ukraine, the official dollar exchange rate continues to decline for the third day. This was confirmed by data on the National Bank website on Monday, May 6.
Thus, the exchange rate for Tuesday is set at 39.3561 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0408 UAH). In turn, the euro slightly increased in price and tomorrow will be worth 42.3983 UAH (+0.0624 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 9 kopecks to 39.20-39.30 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
Meanwhile, in the cash market the dollar exchange rate is stable and unchanged – 39.85 UAH/dollar.
Let us remind you that in April in the cash market the dollar selling rate increased by 1.8% – to UAH 39.64. By the end of the month, it rose above 40 UAH/dollar, but subsequently fell slightly. The official rate updated historical highs and reached 39.78 UAH/dollar on April 22.
In this regard, the National Bank explained the increase in the dollar exchange rate last month.
