The ministry reported that in the specified time period, Ukraine has already exported 15.778 million tons of wheat, 2.202 million tons of barley, 1.2 thousand tons of rye and 22.906 million tons of corn.
For comparison: for the same period of the previous marketing year, Ukraine exported 41.595 million tons of grain and legumes, including: 14.385 million tons of wheat, 2.461 million tons of barley, 17.9 thousand tons of rye and 24.424 million tons of corn.

In addition, in 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 86.6 thousand tons of flour (from July 1 to May 1, 2022/2023 MY, 127.7 thousand tons were exported).
Let’s recall that in the 2022/2023 marketing year, Ukraine exported about 49 million tons of grain and legumes. Then our country earned more than 20 billion dollars. At the same time, Ukrainian farmers lost more than $1 billion due to ship downtime.
However, results may be better in the 2023/2024 marketing year. Indicators of the Ukrainian sea corridor have already exceeded the results of the grain agreement, which was terminated after Russia’s demarche.
