The ban on bagel imports is due to low moisture and fat content and high sugar content.
In Poland, the import of three batches of Ukrainian bagels with a total weight of more than 5.3 thousand kg was blocked. About that reported Voivodeship Inspectorate for Quality of Trade in Agricultural and Food Products (IJHARS) in Ryashev, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland.
“JHARS issued an order in Ryashev banning the sale in Poland of three batches of bagels (5338 kg), imported from Ukraine, due to low moisture and fat content, as well as high sugar content. The decision is subject to immediate implementation,” the message said.
It was previously reported that the volume of foreign trade in Ukraine has increased.
