Organizers have restored electricity to consumers in the Donetsk region for two days after racist attacks on energy facilities.
Over the course of two days, DTEK’s repair and restoration teams restored electricity to 17 thousand consumers in the Donetsk region who suffered racist attacks on energy facilities. The press service of the energy company reported this on Wednesday, April 3.
“The occupiers continue to attack the energy infrastructure of the Donetsk region, as a result of which thousands of people are regularly left without electricity. Despite the difficult situation, electrical engineers continue to working, thanks to which they managed to restore the light in the homes of 17 thousand families,” said the message.
DTEK added that the company’s employees begin repairs immediately after shelling and receiving permission to carry out work from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was reported the day before in March, DTEK repairmen had to restore power supplies to more than 715 thousand consumers in the regions of Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kyiv that suffered Russian attacks.
