On March 1, the amount of deposits of individuals in the national currency reached 780.8 billion hryvnias.
The total amount of deposits of individuals in Ukrainian banks in February increased by 13.1 billion Hryvnia and, on March 1, reached 1.208 trillion Hryvnia. The press service of the Guarantee Fund reported this on Monday, March 25.
As of March 1, of the total amount of deposits of individuals (including individual entrepreneurs), deposits in national currency amounted to 780.8 billion hryvnia, and in foreign currency – 427.3 billion hryvnia.
The share of individual entrepreneurs in the structure of depositors on March 1, 2024 was 3.3%, and the value of their deposits reached 133.9 billion Hryvnias (11.1% of the total value of deposits).
Let us remind you that the net profit of Ukrainian banks in January reached 16.762 billion Hryvnia. This is 14% higher than in January 2023.
