By the end of February, 22.3 thousand hectares had been sown: 0.8 thousand hectares of wheat, 11.4 thousand hectares of barley and 10.2 hectares of peas.
Agricultural producers in Vinnitsa, Nikolaev, Odessa and Kherson regions have started sowing spring grains and legumes. The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported this on Thursday, February 29.
Farmers sow wheat, barley and peas. By the end of February, 22.3 thousand hectares had been sown: 0.8 thousand hectares of wheat, 11.4 thousand hectares of barley and 10.2 hectares of peas.
In the Odessa region, 7.8 thousand hectares of barley and 7.1 thousand hectares of peas were sown; in the Nikolaev region – 3.5 thousand hectares of barley and 2.4 thousand hectares of peas; in the Vinnytsia region – 0.8 thousand hectares of wheat and 0.5 thousand hectares of peas, in the Kherson region – 0.05 thousand hectares of barley and 0.15 thousand hectares of peas.
