The average dollar selling rate increased to UAH 38.80. And the euro exchange rate crossed the line of 42 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate continues to decrease against the dollar in the cash market, but this process has slowed down compared to the previous days. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Wednesday, February 21.
The average selling rate of the dollar increased by another 10 kopecks to 38.80 Hryvnia. The exchange rate of the euro increased by 20 kopecks to UAH 42.05.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.30 UAH, and euros for 41.35 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate in the morning was at the level of 38.60-38.64 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 9 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close. The dollar exchange rate on the interbank market increased by about 1 hryvnia over the past week.
Meanwhile, the National Bank of Ukraine yesterday raised the dollar exchange rate for the second time in a row to a historical maximum – UAH 38.4756 (+0.1909 UAH). The euro today is worth 41.2403 UAH (+0.3484 UAH).
Earlier it became known that in the past week the National Bank sold the highest currency for the month. At the same time, the dollar exchange rate on the interbank market increased by about 50 kopecks and for the first time in a month exceeded 38 UAH/dollar.
