On January 23, the attacker targeted S-300 and Kh-22 missiles at the Kyiv and Kholodnogorsk districts of the city. Then private houses, an educational institution and a post office were damaged. 16 people had to be relocated, and nine civilians were seriously injured. This was reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
After the Russian strikes, the agent arrived at the landing site and recorded information about the destruction and casualties. She was caught red-handed, and corresponding photographs and correspondence with the occupiers were found on her phone. The traitor turned out to be a 34-year-old woman from Kharkov, who began working for the enemy in January of this year.
The attacker transmitted to the invaders the coordinates of the most densely populated areas of the city, and also sent geolocations of buildings that, in her opinion, could be used by the Defense Forces. She also collected intelligence on the routes of movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the direction of the eastern front.
SBU investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She faces life imprisonment.
Let us remind you that the SBU detained a Russian intelligence agent who was preparing a missile attack on the railway and military hospitals in the Cherkasy region. The attacker turned out to be a 45-year-old native of the Lugansk region, who in April 2022 moved to the Cherkasy region as an immigrant from eastern Ukraine.
