The cash dollar selling rate increased to UAH 38.20, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 41.25.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar and the euro at the exchange offices dropped significantly at the beginning of the new week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, February 12.
The average dollar selling rate increased by 15 kopecks to 38.20 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by 25 kopecks to 41.25 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 37.70 UAH, and euros for 40.80 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 37.74-37.76 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 7 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The official NBU exchange rate is currently set at 37.6234 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0527 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 40.5129 hryvnias per 1 euro (+0.1000 UAH).
We remind you that this week the National Bank reduced the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market for the sixth time in a row – to $201 million. This is the lowest volume since the beginning of April 2023.
