In the interbank market, the American currency rate increased to 37.60-37.63 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine raised the dollar exchange rate again after a two-day decline. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, February 6.
The official exchange rate for Wednesday was set at 37.6254 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0710 UAH). In turn, the euro tomorrow is worth 40.3946 UAH (-0.0199 UAH).
Today, on the interbank market, the price of the American currency rose by 6 kopecks – up to 37.60-37.63 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
At the same time, the dollar exchange rate in the cash market did not change – 38.05 UAH.
The day before it became known that the National Bank sold the lowest currency in 10 months. Over the past week, the regulator reduced sales in the interbank market for the fifth time in a row.
The NBU also explained the improvement of the situation in the foreign exchange market. The exchange rate has responded to the balance of supply and demand – since the beginning of the year it has strengthened by 1.2%.
