A group of Prana Network hackers obtained this information by breaking the servers of the Iranian company IRGC Sahara Thunder, which stored data on the production of Shahed-136 UAVs for Russia.
Initially, Iran wanted 23 million rubles per unit (at that time – $375 thousand). Subsequently, the price was reduced by almost half – to 12 million rubles when ordering six thousand drones (193 thousand dollars).
A batch of two thousand drones will cost $290 thousand per unit.
The price of one UAV manufactured in Russia is 50 thousand dollars. Within 2.5 years, Russia plans to produce six thousand drones under Iranian license.
In 2022, Russia declared its intention to produce 6 thousand Iranian drones at its facilities under license within 2.5 years.
The total price of the production contract, including the transfer of technology, equipment, 6 thousand sets of UAVs, and software is 108.5 billion rubles ($1 billion 750 million).
It is also alleged that Russia partially paid Iran for the Shaheds with gold bars.
