In the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar exchange rate immediately jumped by 22 kopecks – to 37.77-37.81 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine significantly increased the dollar and euro rates on the last working day of the week. The hryvnia falls for the fourth day in a row. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, January 26.
So, the official dollar exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 37.7811 (+0.1986 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 41.0567 UAH (+0.1406 UAH).
Today, in the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar exchange rate immediately increased by 22 kopecks – to 37.77-37.81 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks, up to 38.40 UAH/dollar.
Earlier it became known that Ukrainian banks imported a record volume of foreign currency since 2014. In December alone, $1.33 million in foreign currency was imported into the country.
