Drones stop work at a Russian oil terminal for weeks – media

Russian energy company Novatek, is likely to resume basic operations at its Ust-Luga processing complex and Baltic Sea terminal for several weeks after the drone attack. Reuters wrote this on Monday, January 22.

The Ust-Luga complex receives gas condensate, a form of light crude oil, to process about 7 million tons per year from the Purovsky plant in western Siberia to further produce petroleum products such as crude oil, jet fuel and diesel.

According to experts, today Novatek will be forced to export more gas condensate instead of high-margin fuel through other terminals. A quarter of the company’s revenue could be affected by the incident.
