The National Bank of Ukraine has raised the dollar exchange rate for the second time in a row. The American currency rose in price for the second day after a significant fall last week. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, January 16.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 37.9247. for 1 dollar (+0.0606 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 41.2848 hryvnia (-0.1915 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the dollar exchange rate increased by 4 kopecks – to 37.92-38.95 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
At the same time, in the cash market the dollar accelerated its decline – by 15 kopecks, to 38.75 UAH/dollar.
Let us remind you that in the past week the dollar exchange rate has decreased significantly and fell below 38 Hryvnia in the interbank market. The reason for this is the decrease in the foreign currency deficit, which is why the National Bank reduced the sale of dollars.
