Currently, almost 700 trucks are waiting to enter Ukraine in front of two checkpoints.
Polish carriers have completed the blockade in front of the Rava-Russkaya checkpoint, and truck traffic has resumed. One checkpoint on the Polish border remains blocked: Yagodin – Dorogusk. The press service of the State Border Guard Service reported this on Tuesday, January 16.
“According to the information received from the Polish Border Guard, today at about 16:00 (Kyiv time) the protest ended in front of Krakovets-Korchewa and Rawa-Russka-Grebenne checkpoints,” the message said.
It was noted that the registration and passage of cargo vehicles at the border in both directions is being carried out as usual.
Border guards along with control services are working to ensure the passage of the maximum number of trucks.
Currently, almost 700 trucks are waiting to enter Ukraine in front of these checkpoints.
Drivers and carriers are asked to consider this information when planning international transportation.
Earlier it was learned that Polish protesters had unblocked the Korczowa-Krakovets checkpoint.
We remind you that the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure has signed an agreement with the organizers of the blockade of Ukrainian border checkpoints. The protesters agreed to suspend their protest until at least March 1, awaiting a solution to their problems by the new Polish government.
