In January-November of this year, machine-making enterprises also supplied miners with about 990 thousand spare parts and components, Akhmetov’s company reported.
During the 11 months of 2023, DTEK produced 14 roadheaders and shearers. His press service reported this on Thursday, December 28.
“To support the reliable operation of Ukraine’s mines, during 11 months of this year, machine builders of DTEK Energy manufactured and repaired 716 pieces of mining equipment, including 14 new tunneling and shearers. In January-November of this year, machine-building enterprises also provided miners with about 990 thousand spare parts and components. Thanks to this, miners continue to extract coal to the maximum and maintain the necessary fuel reserves for the reliable operation of thermal generation and the energy system of Ukraine,” the statement said.

Let’s recall that earlier this month, DTEK announced the completion of a major repair and the commissioning of a power unit of one of the thermal power plants in the energy system, which was seriously damaged as a result of the massive attack by the Russians last winter. The company clarified that as part of the annual planned repair campaign, 24 power units in the thermal power plant have been repaired.
