The head of the holding company Kievgorstroy Igor Kushnir said that he will leave the post of the head of the board – president of the company after 12 years of work. He announced this on Facebook on Wednesday, December 20.
“Kiev City Council adopted the report of the temporary control commission on the issues of checking the activities of Kievgorstroy. I consider this the final dot above the “i”, which removes any questions about legality of management activities and the situation in the company as a whole… In order to avoid manipulation and misinterpretation, I made a decision to resign from the position of chairman of the board – president of Kievgorstroy, to whom I allocated a significant part of my life,” he wrote.
Kushnir claims that the results of the latest audit revealed abuses on the part of the company’s management and himself.
“It was confirmed that the company was working properly before the emergence of external factors that significantly affected not only us, but also the entire market. The audit findings contain clear proposals for -leave the current situation. I believe that the implementation of these proposals will allow the company to fulfill its obligations, and investors will receive their housing and will not be hostage to the situation,” he concluded.
As you know, the main shareholder of PrJSC HC Kievgorstroy is the City Council of Kiev – 80%. According to Openadtabot, Kievgorstroy in 2022 received 35.8 million hryvnias of net loss against 4.3 million hryvnias of net profit last year. At the same time, its revenue increased by 23% and reached 1.8 billion Hryvnia.
