The army of the Russian Federation is forced to use North Korean shells, because the Russian military-industrial complex produces insufficient quantities of its own ammunition.

However, the artillery shells and mortar shells produced by the DPRK that Moscow received from Pyongyang are of very poor quality. Because of this, there are frequent cases of these ammunition exploding directly in the barrels of the occupiers’ guns and mortars. This leads to the death of Russian artillery and mortarmen and the destruction of weapons. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for December 20.
Given the insufficient amount of ammunition of its own production, the Russian occupation forces are forced to use low-quality artillery and mortar charges supplied from North Korea, the report says.
It is noted that from the explosion of North Korean shells there were losses of the occupiers in the Dnepr group of troops, where the commander is General Mikhail Teplinsky.
Recall that in November Bloomberg reported that North Korea transferred more than a million artillery shells to Russia. Since August, about 10 deliveries of weapons have been made from the DPRK to the Russian Federation, which will allow the occupiers to shell the territory of Ukraine for months to come.
The White House said North Korea could also supply the Russians with ammunition for T-series tanks, anti-tank guided missiles, rocket launchers, rifles and machine guns.
