NEURC approved a new tariff for electricity transmission

The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Utilities (NCREKU) approved the tariff increase for electricity transmission services NEK Ukrainergo from January 1, 2024 by 9%. It was announced yesterday Ukrinform.

The cost of electricity delivery will increase to 528.57 UAH/MWh.

In addition, NEURC increased the tariff for dispatch control from January 1 by 9.5% – up to 104.57 UAH/MWh.

Separate preferential transmission tariffs for green electrometallurgy enterprises are also expected to increase by 74% – from 209.42 UAH/MWh to 364.70 UAH/MWh.

Let’s recall that the draft decision of NEURC, approved on November 16 for discussion, proposed an increase in the transmission tariff by 22.2% – to 592.89 UAH/MWh.

It was also reported that a month ago the National Energy and Regulatory Commission set new maximum prices in the electricity market. They started operating on November 30.
