Michael Silva won a large amount of money thanks to a friend’s advice. He didn’t know what to do with his first $50 win.
A Massachusetts man says a friend’s advice led him to win $2 million in the lottery. This was reported by UPI.
Specifically, Michael Silva told state lottery officials that he won $50 from a ten-dollar ticket and asked his friend what to do with the winnings.
The friend responded, “Go big or go home,” and the man spent his winnings on a $50 Billion Dollar Extravaganza ticket.
As a result, it became a winner and brought the American the main prize – two million dollars. The store where Michael bought the ticket received a $20,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Silva chose the instant win option and received a lump sum payout of $1,300,000 (before taxes).
Earlier it was reported that in Poland, a 24-year-old man from Gdansk got a job in a bank, where he stole about 400 thousand zlotys and lost it in bets.
