NABU summoned the ex-director of the Odessa port plant for questioning

Nikolai Parsentyev is scheduled to arrive at NABU on December 4 at 2 pm to participate in investigative and procedural actions.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau summoned the former acting director of JSC Odessa Port Plant Nikolai Parsentiev for interrogation on December 4. The press service of NABU reported this.

Parsentiev must arrive on December 4 at 14.00 at NABU to participate in investigative and procedural actions, in particular, interrogation as a suspect and delivery of procedural documents in the proceedings dated March 11, 2020.

We are talking about criminal proceedings regarding the creation of a criminal organization and the seizure of JSC funds Odessa Port Plant and JSC United Mining and Chemical Companywhere the ex-chairman of the State Property Fund Dmitry Sennichenko appears.

Let’s recall that in March, the former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Dmitry Sennichenko, was accused of creating a criminal group that, in 2019-2021, seized more than 500 million hryvnias from the funds of large businesses state property. In April, NABU announced that it was looking for Sennichenko, Parsentyev and five other people suspected in this case.

Recently, NABU revised its suspicion against Sennichenko. He is suspected of laundering 10 billion hryvnia.

As you know, Sennichenko held the position of the head of the State Property Fund since September 19, 2019, and he wrote a letter of resignation of his own free will in November 2021. The Verkhovna Rada was satisfied only in February 2022.

According to media reports, after his dismissal, Sennichenko left for Spain, and several other defendants in the case live in Austria.
