Operations at the Ugrinov-Dolgobychev checkpoint will be suspended due to a temporary blackout.

The Ugrinov-Dolgobychev checkpoint will temporarily stop working on Tuesday, November 28, due to a power outage during repairs on the Polish side. The press service of Lviv customs reported this on Facebook.

“According to the information received from the Lublin border checkpoint maintenance department of the Republic of Poland, related to the repair work by the Polish side, on November 28, 2023, there will be a temporary blackout at the international checkpoint for traffic on the Ugrinov – Dolgobychev road, ” said the message.

No electricity during the following hours:

  • from 10:00 for three subsequent hours;

  • time off;

  • from 2 pm for three hours.

The renovation will last until approximately 17:00 on November 28.

We remind you that since November 6, on the Ukrainian-Polish border, due to a strike, the movement of trucks at the Krakovets-Korcheva, Rava-Russkaya-Grebnoye and Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoints has been difficult. There are thousands of trucks in the queue. On November 23, strikers blocked a fourth checkpoint, Shegini, for trucks. Polish carriers demand the abolition of the visa-free transport regime for Ukraine.

Polish farmers who joined the blockade of carriers at the Ukrainian border plan to extend their protest until January 3. So far, two Ukrainian drivers have died while waiting to cross the border into Poland.
