The average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine remained at UAH 37.75, and the euro fell to UAH 41.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the cash euro continued its growth. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Thursday, November 23.
This morning, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine did not change – 37.75 Hryvnia, but the euro fell by 10 kopecks – to 41.00 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 37.25 UAH, and euros for 40.30 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate was at the level of 36.01-36.03 (buying and selling) – a decrease of 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank yesterday raised the official dollar exchange rate for the first time in five banking days to the level of 36.0675 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0222 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 39.3352 UAH per 1 euro (-0.1308 UAH).
We remind you that last week the National Bank increased sales of dollars significantly. The volume of sales in the interbank foreign exchange market was the largest this month.
And in October, Ukrainians bought a record amount of currency for 10 years. In turn, the NBU sold the largest amount of dollars in the interbank market since June last year.
