In the cash market, the euro exchange rate rose sharply, while the dollar exchange rate stabilized. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Wednesday, November 15.
This morning the average dollar exchange rate did not change – 37.85 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate immediately increased by 40 kopecks – to 40.80 Hryvnia. It is indicated that this is due to the growth of the euro against the dollar in world markets.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.35 Hryvnia, and a euro for 40.10 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the dollar exchange rate is at the level of 36.30-36.32 (purchase and sale). It is 2 kopecks lower compared to the previous day’s close.
In turn, the National Bank today sharply increased the dollar exchange rate – to the level of 36.3171 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.1562 UAH). The American currency rose in price for a third day. The euro exchange rate is 38.9392 UAH per 1 euro (+0.3447 UAH).
We remind you that in the past week the National Bank sold $389.1 million in the interbank market and also bought $1.26 million. Sales volume fell for the third week in a row.
It was also reported that Ukraine’s reserves were declining for the third month.
