The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined Lvovteploenergo and Kievteploenergo for obliging consumers at different times to obtain technical conditions and technical solutions for the installation of meters. This was announced by the head of AMCU Pavel Kirilenko.
“The provisional administrative boards, which separately considered the cases against Lvovteploenergo and Kyivteploenergo, came to the same conclusions in their meetings: they established and proved the facts of the violations and fined the enterprises. Lvovteploenergo must pay 550,000 hryvnias to the state budget, Kyivteploenergo – 502 thousand UAH,” – said the message.
It is reported that when determining the amount of fines, it is considered that these businesses are objects of critical infrastructure, and in addition, the amounts of fines are commensurate with the benefits received.
