In July 2023, businessman Dmitry Firtash bought Sergei Levochkin’s share in ChAO TV channel Inter and changed the management of the company in November. This was reported on the channel’s website and the Group DF website.
Previously, Levochkin was a minority shareholder of the TV channel, owning 20% of the Cypriot GDF Media Limited (which, together with Valery Khoroshkovsky’s KH Media Limited, owns 90% of the TV channel ) by Ovitilio Ltd.
In July 2023, Levochkin ceased to be the main participant in the entity as a result of the sale of 100% of the shares of Ovitilio Ltd in favor of Group DF Holdings Limited. So, Firtash took part Inter increased from 53.4% to 59.5%.
