In the near future, Denmark will contribute four million euros to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. Another three million will come later.

Denmark will transfer a grant contribution totaling seven million euros to Ukraine’s Energy Support Fund. This was announced by the Minister of Climate, Energy and Utilities of Denmark Lars Ogaard at a meeting with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko within the framework of an international conference in Warsaw, reports the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

It was mentioned that Denmark will contribute four million euros in the near future. Another three million will come later. The funds will be used to purchase equipment to restore energy infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks.

Lars Ogaard emphasized that Denmark will continue to help Ukraine in dealing with the Russian aggressor, especially in the field of energy. This is the clear position of both the national government and Danish business.

German Galushchenko thanked Denmark for being the first sponsor of the fund, which provided a contribution in the amount of about 536 thousand euros, aimed at purchasing energy equipment for 10 Ukrainian energy companies.

Let’s recall that the total amount of donor obligations for grant contributions to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine has reached more than 322 million euros. The working group of the Ministry of Energy has already approved requests for the purchase of equipment and fuel worth more than 310 million euros.

It was previously reported that the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection will contribute 54.3 million euros to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.
