There is currently no fixed operational schedule for the Black Sea corridor – ships operate when the security situation allows, the military explained.
In the Black Sea, the movement of ships in a temporary corridor from/to Ukrainian ports was again observed. The Center for Transport Strategies reported this on Friday, October 27, citing data from ship traffic monitoring services.
It is said that the ships did not pass through the corridor for three days. And today, four ships will soon leave the ports of Odessa – Propus, Iasos, Gloria G and Manassa Queen.
Three more ships are now on their way to the ports – the tanker Mavka, the bulk carrier Golden Arrow and the general cargo ship Maranta.
In turn, the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command South Natalya Gumenyuk said at the telethon that currently there is no stable operating schedule for the Black Sea corridor – ships operate when the security situation permits.
“Therefore, there is no need to spin the situation around the fact that some artificial detentions are taking place. In fact, there is no stable schedule, there are opportunities that are implemented with the support of the Defense Forces,” he explained.
Let’s recall that on October 26, information appeared about the alleged suspension of the Black Sea corridor due to a possible threat from Russia. Russian aviation has been more active in this area. The Russians dropped some explosive devices.
But on the same day, the government denied stopping the corridor, where more than 1.3 million tons of various cargoes have already been exported, and not just agricultural products, as before.
