The prosecutor’s appeal will be considered by judges Dmitry Mikhailenko, Nikolai Glotov and Daniila Chernenkaya.
The court will continue considering the Rotterdam+ case according to the prosecutor’s appeal. The newspaper Law and Business reported this on Wednesday, October 25.
“The Court of Appeal of the High Anti-Corruption Court carried out the auto-distribution of the high-profile Rotterdam+ case, which was closed by a panel of trial judges,” the statement said.
According to the auto-distribution protocol, the prosecutor’s appeal in case No. 991/2364/23 will be considered by judges Dmitry Mikhailenko, Nikolai Glotov and Daniila Chernenkaya.
The publication recalls that for the first time this case was considered by the VAKS board consisting of Inna Bilous, Sergei Bondar and Viktor Nogachevsky. In early October, this panel decided to close the Rotterdam+ case. This happened for the fifth time. At the same time, Nogachevsky expressed a dissenting opinion.
“As it is known from the media, V. Nogachevsky is the godfather of D. Mikhailenko, because the latter baptized his daughter. So in this case, we should probably expect challenges or self-recusals. Accordingly here, this is not the final composition of the board, and we can expect a new automatic distribution, “- predicts the newspaper.
We remind you that the investigation in the Rotterdam+ case lasted almost 6 years – from March 2017. During this time, the prosecutor’s office closed the case four times due to the lack of evidence of a crime and reopened the investigation four times.
