Since October 10, dozens of multi-story buildings have been destroyed to the ground. Some of the houses were hit by two missiles, and some buildings were destroyed by Russian guided bombs. Now the city is being destroyed “by leaps and bounds.” The head of the Avdeevka city military administration, Vitaly Barabash, announced this on October 26.
And looking at this destruction, you understand that at this rate of shelling, Avdiivka will turn into Marinka in two or three weeks. That is, everything will remain at the foundation level, that’s for sure,” the official noted.
According to him, currently 1 thousand 599 local residents remain in Avdeevka. They survive thanks to humanitarian aid that is delivered to the city.
Yesterday, September 24, the evacuation of the city had to be stopped due to constant shelling from the occupiers. However, Barabash urged people to leave Avdiivka no matter what.
Let us remind you that the head of the Avdeevka military administration, Vitaly Barabash, said that Russian troops do not stop shelling the roads leading to Avdeevka, which complicates the evacuation of residents and the supply of humanitarian aid. Thus, the aggressor tries to keep the road under constant fire control.
